Paul Dawson has practiced law since 2001. His experience includes a wide range of insurance-related litigation, including defending insureds under professional and product liability, construction, and personal injury claims; pursuing subrogated actions on behalf of property insurers; and providing coverage analysis to insurers relating to directors and officers' and other special risk policies.
In addition to maintaining an active roster of litigation files, Paul also provides specialized legal research support to the firm. Paul is a past Chair of the CBABC Legal Research Section. He co-chaired seminars and presented papers on legal research for Continuing Legal Education and Canadian Defence Lawyers, and has taught legal research and writing as an Adjunct Professor and guest lecturer in the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Law.
