Cayleigh joins Dolden Wallace Folick as an articled student following the completion of her J.D. at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2019.
In 2018, as a temporary articled student at Dolden Wallace Folick, Cayleigh appeared with senior counsel in chambers, prepared pleadings, conducted research, and assisted senior counsel in disputes relating to strata property, personal injury, occupiers’ liability, and professional negligence.
At law school, Cayleigh was the Vice President of the Allard Law Women’s Caucus where she organized multiple events and initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality in the legal profession and broader community. In addition, she presented legal workshops to high school students through the Legal Education and Outreach program and worked as a research assistant.
Cayleigh competed in the 2018 Peter Burns Moot where she participated in a competitive mock trial and underwent intensive training and preparation in trial advocacy.
Prior to her legal studies, Cayleigh obtained a Bachelor of Arts at the University of British Columbia before working in the office of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of British Columbia. She volunteered with West Coast Legal Education and Action Fund facilitating legal workshops to youth across the Lower Mainland.
