Elka Dadmand joined Dolden Wallace Folick LLP as an associate in 2018 and has a broad insurance defence practice. Her current focus is on liquor and hospitality liability, sports and recreation liability, medical malpractice, and professional liability for a wide range of professionals including lawyers, health care professionals, architects, engineers, mortgage brokers, and insurance brokers.
Prior to joining DWF Vancouver, Elka practiced insurance defence in Ontario. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2014 after articling at a national firm. During her time in Ontario, Elka appeared before various levels of courts and tribunals, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the License Appeal Tribunal, and the Ontario Small Claims Court.
Elka holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria and a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario. In the course of her legal studies, Elka completed a clerkship at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and competed in the prestigious Wilson Moot.
