Darren was called to the Bar in South Africa in 2012 and has gained litigation experience both locally and internationally. Prior to joining DWF, Darren worked at an injury litigation law firm in Halifax where he had an active role in advancing injury litigation and professional negligence disputes.
Prior to being called to the Bar in South Africa, Darren completed a two-year period of articling with a large-sized law firm, working primarily in injury and insurance litigation and commercial litigation. He then went on to work as corporate counsel for a major international shipping line, representing the company in commercial litigation, construction litigation, insurance litigation, and maritime litigation.
