Travis Walker
Travis practices in our Toronto office and has considerable experience in the areas of commercial, civil, and insurance litigation as well as coverage and monitoring work for domestic and London market insurers. Prior to joining Dolden Wallace Folick, Travis articled and practiced commercial and insurance litigation at a prominent international firm in Toronto.

COVERAGE & MONITORING
Travis provides coverage advice to insurers regarding an array of insurance products including E&O, D&O, CGL, EPL, and cyber policies. He also has experience acting as monitoring counsel and previously completed a year-long secondment at an international insurer handling primarily specialty lines E&O claims.
PRODUCT LIABILITY
Travis has acted for a diverse range of clients with unique product liability needs, including having overseen commercial product recalls spanning from home security systems to interactive children’s books.
OCCUPIERS’ LIABILITY
Travis is regularly retained to defend winter maintenance contractors, security companies, retail stores, hospitals, and municipalities in claims involving personal injury arising from alleged breaches of the Occupiers’ Liability Act.
SPORTS & RECREATION
Travis’ sports and recreation practice includes defending sports leagues of all types against claims of negligence giving rise to personal injury. He also acted as pro bono counsel to a junior athlete in a seminal anti-doping dispute before the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada.
LIQUOR LIABILITY
Travis has represented a variety of bars, restaurants and taverns in the defence of claims arising from the service of alcohol, use of force, and alleged assaults by staff members.
PROFESSIONAL NEGLIGENCE
Travis defends insurance brokers, architects, engineers, medical, paramedical, and a host of other professionals against claims of negligence.
EDUCATION
Travis received his B.MOS (Managerial and Organizational Studies) from the University of Western Ontario and his J.D. from Osgoode Hall in 2013. During law school, Travis volunteered at Osgoode’s Community & Legal Aid Services Program and with Law Help Ontario, a Pro Bono Ontario project. Travis also represented Osgoode at an international mooting competition in Hong Kong and completed an exchange program in International and Comparative Business Law in Hamburg, Germany.
